Sounds like a beautiful life you have. As far as water goes, we have lived so close by water, -- you know, like across the street from the beach, or a water view, etc. DH's family on one side thru the centuries have owned their own ships and were, of course, the sea captains on them, and a couple of them were lost at sea -- I have a list of all the ships that they owned over the years.
When I saw the movie "Perfect Storm" it really brought a lot of this home to me -- their life at sea and how critical. One or two of the captains did a lot of cooking and entertaining and even had a restaurant in the late 1800's nearby the home.

We will never live on the water -- or near the water again -- but we always say when we're near water when we go to CT, etc. (knowing we won't or can't afford, etc etc), wouldn't it be nice to live near the water again. When we're in CT, when we are not in New Haven we are in little places like this that's me -- I put it here as an encouragement for others to show their face -- I've seen a few persons' pics here, but not many. I know we all wish we could look better -- tee hee.

And thanks for the extra paragraphs of your life on the water! It's fun to read. Dee Dee
