Anorexia = without appebreaste. In medical terms, it is a symptom. Perhaps it's a symptom of good health and regular eating. Don't be confused with anorexia nervosa, which is not what he's describing. Also, the poster never suggested that he had a disease, so perhaps it's not symptomatic at all.
I think this is a meek shall inherit the earth kind of thing. That topsy-turvey Jeeves kind of vision JC was big on. I don't think he's suggesting that being hungry is good, but rather it was a symptom of poverty, and the poor were gonna be well off in the after. It doesn't hang that hunger, apart from not being able to afford food in the capitalistic society that JC was speaking against, was good in and of itself. Meekness, likewise, would be a quality of the disenfranchised. If you were meek and rich, you were still screwed in the after. And if you weren't meek and you were poor, you probably were well off (I'm thinking of the apostles and Luke and Paul, who were all certainly poor and mostly not meek).
