I know that this is supposed to be a cooking group, so your remark made me smile..... but to be honest I quite enjoy some of the OT posts, and the odd flame war ;) Used to KF a few people, but you can still see their posts through others anyway - so I gave it up as a bad joke. And so far I am surviving heh heh heh.
Anyway here is one that we *did* try the other day - I found it snooping around on BigOven - and we enjoyed it.

Tropical Chicken Salad
Recipe By: Serving Size: 6 Cuisine: Uncategorized Main Ingredient: Chicken Categories: Raisin, Apple, Chicken, Mayo, Salads
-= Ingredients =- 2 c Chicken, white meat, * 1 c Pineapple Chunks 1-2 c Shredded Coconut 3 tb Chopped Chutney 3-4 c Mayonnaise 2 x Apples, peeled and diced 1-3 c Chopped almonds 1-4 c White Raisins (opt.) 2 ts Curry Powder
-= Instructions =- * Cooked and cubed In a bowl, combine chutney, curry, and mayonnaise. Combine all other ingredients in a separate bowl. Stir curry, chutney, and mayonaisse mixture into the chicken mixture. Serve on watercress or lettuce leaves, with slices of avocado. Posted
