Buy a cat ????? Do people actually still buy cats? I see them in the pet shops occasionally, and I have seen them in the pound. I used to get cats on my way home form work. I would be driving down the road and see a sign "Free Kittens". I have never paid for a cat in my life.

We have had lots of kittens in the past that we had to get rid off. We have taken them to pet shops, put ads in the paper, sign up in front of the house. The last time we had kittens we put them in a cage by the side of the road with a "Free Kittens". When that didn't work we put up a sign "Kittens $10. We sold two. Then we crossed out the $10 and a $5 beside it, and sold another. Then we "Buy One Get One Free" An hour later the last two were gone, and they even left the money. So we discovered that it is better to sell them cheap and offer a bargain than to try to give them away. If you do that, you are offering them something instead of making it look like they are doing you a favour by taking them.
