Puntarelle salad was:Antipasto idea

G'day Pandora,

sarah bennett Mackerel or Salmon, either one, makes a nice "croquette". I love Bolivar's recipe for this. Of course he gets all fancy and bakes them in cast iron molds shaped...

If you're going to quote a long URL like that you might like to consider converting it to a shorter version by using the simple

As an example, I've converted your URL to this "tiny URL":

I should add that it's a good idea to also quote the full thing as you have done, for two reasons: (1) the "tiny URL" may expire some time in future (as might the original, come to that :); and (2) many people do like to see the full thing before they click on the tiny version, as they may be wary about visiting some sites. So why bother with tiny URLs? Well, many browsers have trouble parsing a long URL that may well contain one or more line breaks when quoted in USENET groups.

Incidentally, that page of yours seems to be mostly in Japanese. :-) I gather that "puntarelle" is a form of chicory? There seems to be a very wide range of chicory varieties. For example, see: However, only one of these looks like the illustration in the page you originally quoted, namely the one referred to here as "CHICORY CATALOGNA PUNTARELLE DI GALATINA". I presume this is the one you use?

Cheers, Phred.
