I had to be there at 8:30 this morning. Went through 2 1/2 hours of stuff with them. In the end, they owed me $337.00... That's what the bastards get for messing with me ;) Unfortunately I owe the state $19.00 ;( All in all a decent morning.
After the meeting I did some retail therapy. I stopped at TJ's on the way home and picked up some Trader Joe's Organic Tomato Basil Marinara for $2.29 (25oz. jar), a Trader Joe's Santa Maria Style Marinated Tri-Tip for $6.29 a pound (bought 3 lbs.) which I will throw on the Weber on Labor Day. I picked up a couple of lbs. of Mahi Mahi fillets, some cherry juice and one of my faves, Chicken Gyoza Potstickers. Oh, I also got some of their hand made tortillas. Off to Straubs I went. Straubs had a few items I wanted. I bought Straubs brand of Wasabi Sake mustard. It's way good stuff. I grabbed a bottle of Tibvrtini extra virgin olive oil and a quart each of Straubs chicken noodle soup and creamy mushroom soup. From Straubs I went to Blockbuster and bought a couple of DVDs to watch tonight after we get home from dining out at TNGs (Two Nice Guys) on pizza. We'll get a Tim's Special and the house salads.
