Here's my favorite Captain George's story.

I was in line behind a woman who was serving herself some Seafood Norfolk out of the large buffet container. It's a busy night, so the servig dish is maybe 1/4 full. (Seafood Norfolk is simply seafood that's been shelled and sauteed in butter. saves you the work of picking the crab.) So this woman looks over her shulder at me, with a look on her fae like I am her worst enemy. She proceeds to dig through the bin of seafood and remove all the large chunks she can find. She throws a victorious sneer over her shoulder at me as she removes the last big chunk in the bin, leaving only the finely shredded strands. Of course, anyone who knows crab will realize that the large pinkish pieces were FAKE KRAB ansd all the shredded stuff was the real crabmeat. She thoughty she was getting one over on me, but she actually did me a favor so I didn't have to pick around the fake stuff!

Another corrolary to this story - I told this tale to mf BF not too long after we first began dating. About a year later, we were going to Captain George's for dinner. He wanted to tell me this funny story that had happened to him last time he ate at Captain George's. So he proceeded to tell me MY OWN STORY! (but in the first person, as if it had happened to him, of course.) HA!
