Chicken prices how to compareI posted this before, but it seems to have disappeared - from both newsgroups I put it in. Very suspicious. This chart is from a...
I always enjoy watching the Three Stooges cook.
Their recipes included pouring boiling water through a chicken carcbutte to make "soup" and scrambling eggs with the shells stirred in.

How do I pop amaranthI bought a packet of amaranth by a mistake, and saw on the label, that it can be popped, which sounds exciting, so maybe I can turn...
I thought about the fact that, in real life, Moe Howard was famous for his home barbecues... particularly how he was notorious for burning chickens on his grill.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but soaking in rock salt extricates the blood, right? That's what my mom did when preparing chitterlings (which are not Kosher at all... but are TRAYF) LOL...
I did once emulate a stooge-like recipe, quite by accident. I had read that it was safe to microwave a whole egg as long as you pierce the shell with a pin. So, I tried it and the explosion blew the door off the microwave and littered the kitchen walls and ceiling with egg shrapnel. Nyaaaah!
Despite that debacle, maybe I will try stirring some unpopped popcorn into my Aunt Jemima batter... just to see what happens.
