Thats sorta my position, I acquiesce to certain "family traditions" to keep the peace. I am the black sheep of the bunch due to my work which makes holidays just another day out there. Chicken rates right behind turkey in that I very rarely cook it, and its just not on my food radar for eating, beef is my preferred meat of choice.

I allow turkey served this one time a year. I am going to do my full court press again this year for duck for the december holiday meal v. another turkey or ham. I will settle for some thing along the lines of a pork loin or something, and as soon as I find a recipe for a cranberry orange marinated pork loin. An ad I saw had one pre made, but I figure I can make better. I may just let them cook what they want if its turkey or ham and make my own duck to go with the sides they make.
Oysters are OK, just not my thing. I won't eat mountains of it like I would other dressing-stuffing. As for sausage I think I have to disagree I love it.
