Crash says some really off the wall things that have nothing to do with anything. But he's never said one unkind word. At least at this heart bypbutt surgery and a stroke. He'd angrily accuse me of saying things I'd never said, etc. So I do understand that the brain develops a mind of its own when subjected to certain drugs, etc.
The biggest problem so far happened the day after he put on his first patch. While smoking a cigarette, he set fire to his pants, and didn't notice until they'd been burning for awhile. Thankfully, they are loose, and he didn't get burned. But it's scary. I try to sit with him when he's both loopy and smoking now.
As far as pacing myself, I'm trying to do that. I take naps whenever I can get them in. When he's up, or I can't sleep, I frolic in the American Idol newsgroup (a lot fewer posts than RFC). I'm having a
