When I first posted at 1am in the morning, I forgot to mention a few facts about my situation. No, I wasn't a hurricane evacuee, and no, there was no flooding in the city 40 miles west of new Orleans. Also, Hurricane Katrina happened at the end of August and this "teflon contagioning" happened to me "only days ago." I have just gotten tired of South Louisiana's vulnerability to hurricanes and just recently moved. (My parents are renting from me back home). Anyway, no, i'm also not stressed out because I've been on a literal vacation for the past 2 weeks! I know you don't know me from Adam, but I'm looking to help someone out there that is experiencing the same thing I experienced. I don't believe there is such a thing as "safe Teflon" cooking. Maybe different people react differently. However, that doesn't mean that the nonstick chemical Teflon is safe(!) Also, no, I don't need to go to a doctor to tell me how I felt. What I felt in my body was frightening. I've had the flu years before and even food contagioning. And I'm telling you that the "teflon flu" or "teflon contagioning" is a very real condition. I'm astounded that someone says it could be stress, seasonal flu, etc. It felt like a brick was on my head the last few days. I typically read for 4 to 5 hours a day and have a very strong memory. My mind was foggy and I was absent minded. If you are one of those people that mocks people, well, just know that there is as many people out there that care for the health and well-being of their fellow humans and friends. Thank you.
