Use them as a base for making Lo Mein:
Break up a package of ramen noodles, any flavor but beef, in a small saucepan, add 1 cup hot tap water (the package directions will call for 2 cups), and the flavor packet. Bring to a boil, remove from heat, cover. Meanwhile, saute a sliced half an onion, some diced raw chicken (or leave out the chicken and add whatever leftover meat you have later with the noodles), and a handful of frozen french-cut green beans in a wok (or wok-like skillet) in a little oil over high heat. Add a spoonful of garlic-chile-oil paste, and a cut-up bell pepper or some fresh bean sprouts. When the chicken is done, dump in the undrained ramen noodles. Cook about a minute. Add a little oyster sauce, and optionally a pinch of brown sugar and-or a few drops of sesame oil if you got it. Toss, and serve.
Pork ramen goes best with chicken. Chicken ramen goes good with shrimp. Vegetable ramen goes OK with anything. Beef ramen would probably be good with lots of mushrooms.
