No, really, people want to know where's he at ... not in his head, in his physical location.

I must be living under a rock, I think I first heard butthat earlier this week.

They are the equivalent of reading speedbumps, in my opinion.

Guilty of laziness and a long time affectation.

I have given up that battle, y'all can be mad at me if you want, I know I am using up the world supply of apostrophes, but my head is positive if it's Mary's color is blue, then it's It's color is blue. It owns that color. Dammit. (laugh)

Ditto The Smith's on the sign in front of their house. Yeah, the Smith's house, implied. Might only be one Smith living there, for all I know.

Also, a lot of the Wells and You knows, in writing sometimes it fills in the spaces that would be conveyed by body english if you're talking in person. And writing in perfectly perfect English comes off as being stilted and off-putting sometimes, in my experience.

Oh, and putting a wink on the end doesn't mean anything anymore, at least to me. People will write "Thank you for the recipe ;)" ... what does that mean? Wink Wink thanks for that sucky recipe? Have a nice day! ;) What does that mean?

I don't know what everyone is winking about!
