Then they are poor planners, and the poverty isn't simply a matter of finances, but thought. We live on much less than most would imagine, and we're not on welfare or anything like that. We are careful how and where we spend, we don't buy non-necessities and we plan. Even when Rich didn't get such luxuries as paid vacation time, we knew to put money aside so that when he wanted-needed to take time off we wouldn't be in debt or starve. On much less than we make now, he was able to take a week or two off every time we had a child, and we had people who made double or triple what we make tell us how lucky we were to be able to afford that. I always wanted to smack them and ask them why they didn't use the nine months of pregnancy to set some cash aside rather than complain that they couldn't afford it. pee poor planning on someone else's part is not an emergency on mine, nor does it make them a victim of anything.
Regards, Ranee
