I really have to wonder though. Here in St. Louis we have a couple of places that cater to the wealthy. Gourmet to Go is one that will have a complete meal ready for you, for however many diners, to pick up after work. Dining Express (I know the owner) will take phone orders for various local restaurants. They will place the order, pick it up and deliver it to your home. Bizarre business but he's done quite well for himself. The owner tells me that he has a lot of repeat business in my area (Glendale, Kirkwood, Webster Groves, Ladue, Clayton) and that he has families in Ladue that order dinner to be delivered 6-7 days a week.
I can just see all the wealthy sending their maids to this business to do all the prep work, drag the food back to the house so mom or dad can throw it in the oven. I can really see it.
As for me; Today I've got a big, fat baking hen to cook. I'll make Au Gratin potatoes (from scratch) and steam some broccoli. I might make Hollandaise but the potatoes will have more than enough sauce.
