Xmas decorations. Have you begun

seen something on TV about upside down Christmas trees being all the rage in the US. Just did a Google search and found this

Fried Chicken First Timer. 888
Richard Green Well, that's the basic recipe, and there's nothing wrong with it. You can add many other things to the flour coating. Just keep experimenting until you find what you like...

Can't imagine it myself. I just think it's sad that the major selling point is that there's more room for presents under the tree!

I love Christmas. The tree is up (we have an artificial one) and most of the other decorations - I put quite a few throughout the living area. I like to get the tree up around the beginning of December, and it comes down after the 12 days of Christmas. When I was a child, our tree (artificial) only went up a couple of days before Christmas. I think that was because my mum was a severe chronic asthmatic, though, and house dust was something which caused attacks. The longer the tree was up, the more dust it could accumulate, I suppose.

We have a couple of little things outside, but no outside lights. That's OK - the people across the road make up for us. There are quite a few houses around here that put up lots of lights, but with very little the windows - one of those is up so far. I'm busy trying to get presents that I'm making finished (just finished beading around a glbutt bauble for a Kris Kringle gift for my Embroiderers' Guild Christmas dinner which is tomorrow night). Got to finalise my list of baking and confectionery making also.

Sharon, I do NOT know if this freezes well or not. If you try this and freeze it, do the topping after thawing. I don't...
