Actually, I do pet photography for my small business. So, I am quite used to the moving cats.
But really, I want the video camera for the play antics. We have a lot of entertainment in our house, and I would love to record it.
For example, Jay Jay attacking my box of garbage bags. He was pawing at the bags and shooting them out like a letter dispenser. In his favorite box, he likes to paw at others going by. He also loves to attack toilet paper, not the typical way, but in the package. He just grabs hold of it with his teeth, and he rips a whole chunk out.

It was hilarious the day I brought home some groceries in a box. I had some canned food items and a package of toilet paper. He loved the box and started playing with it. He finally get the lid off and played with the lid. They he turned around and saw the package of toilet paper. I could see the look in his eyes. Oooh! My favorite! And he ripped into the toilet paper.
There are just so many funny things that they do. I would love to have some of it on video to save and enjoy. I have lots of photos of all my pets, but only one short video of my first dog. My brother brought a video camera to Christmas and zoomed up on my dog while setting up the camera. I have no other video of any of my pets. I love my photos, but I would love to see the way the moved, the way the acted, and hear their funny meows, or my current dog who sings. All those special things that cannot be captured on still film.
