The donuts almost took the prize. I'm not a fan of KK, although from a least-good-for-you POV it's probably hard to argue with what they serve up. But in the end it had to be the pecan pie for its fat-sugar-egg combination, especially when you consider that it's often served with whipped cream. I make pecan pie once per year, on Thanksgiving, because any more times and I might keel over. But on that one day, it's irresistible. You really have to exert some self-control over portion size lest you should be terrifyingly sick afterwards.
Mine would be, at least, *my* reference standard, but pretty much any good brownie qualifies. When I first started making mine I used to cut the 9"* 9" block into 9 squares. However, after one too many people quickly reached the point of no return, so to speak, I recognised that 16 squares was probably kinder to people's health. My brownies are insidious in that each bite makes you that more eager to violate what you know to be your better judgement.

Those top 5 are all like that - very "more-ish". It's hard to stop once you've started.
To the list I might also add another, very ethnic, specialty - Kulich. Those who have had it know *exactly* what I mean. However, after 48 days of fasting, you're *ready* for it...
