I'm right with you on the bell pepper and mushrooms. I like the flavor from cream of mushroom soup, but I strain out the mushrooms once it's done. Bell pepper I don't like because whatever you put it in tastes like bell pepper, rather than the dish you were making. I love onions...the flavor. I hate the texture, so I always either cook them long (like pot roast) or mince them very fine or grate them. I can't live without them though! lol Olives, hmm. I like green olives. I like them alone. I like them in pate, and served with cheese. And that's it. I don't like them "in" stuff. And I don't like black olives at all. I love corn. Love it. Good stuff. As long as it is served as corn. I don't like corn chowder, corn bread, corn muffins. I don't like corn to be "in" stuff either. No corn in my veggie soup, or stews or anything of the sort. It's just the wrong texture for that. I don't like beer or wine, or most shellfish (except crab, which I like plenty well). I hate that snap when you bite into shrimp, but I love ebi- go figure. I don't know what the sushi houses do, but the shrimp doesn't snap, and that makes all the difference to me. I've discovered most of the things I dislike, it's more about the texture than it is the flavor. Except those damn bell peppers!
