It is a nice city isn't it. My son has been living there for the last four years for school. He just finished his last exam. I expect that he will stay there until June when his girlfriend graduates. It's an 7-8 hour drive from here so we only get there 2-3 times per year, but we always have a good time. It is a relatively inexpensive city for hotels and for dining. We have had lots of great meals there for half what they would cost in any other city, and there is an incredible variety of ethnic foods.
I like hot, spicy foods too, but not when they are so hot that you can't eat them. I can handle the heat, but it gets to the point where it overwhelms all the other flavours. I think that balance is important.

I was interested in trying Indian food for a long time but my son was never interested in trying it. He went to work in Africa for a year when he was 19. When he came back he wasn't interested in Indian food because he had it so often there. Thank goodness he got over that and wanted to start eating it again.
He takes is to a vegetarian Indian place in Montreal where we can have an appetizer, a combo meal that includes a dessert and we each have a mango lbutti and usually costs about $26 for the three of us. That is hard to beat.
