It's similar to a Foreman but made by Hamilton Beach and IMHO the design is superior! It's rectangular and fairly large, I can do 3 chicken breasts on it at one time and, most important, the grills are easily removable for cleaning!
When I was making a decision as to which one to get, I wanted to get the one that was easier to clean. Foreman makes a similar size but the grills are a PITA to remove and replace. In the HB brand one, it's very easy.
The HB was also $30.00 less than the Foreman. It was $47.00 at Wal-mart and the foreman was about $80.00. I'm just glad that WM has floor models so you can really get a good look at them!
It has a 15 minute timer and the drip tray is at the side instead of at the front and is a little drawer that is simple to remove for cleaning, and stays put!

No temp. control but I don't care. I just experiment with timing and the hot fast cooking keeps meat PERFECT. I cook boneless skinless chicken breasts for 7 to 8 minutes and whole split breasts for 10 to 15 minutes depending on how thick they are.

This thing stays out on the counter next to the stove as I use it almost daily. I've pretty much quit using the skillet for cooking meat now. ;-) I even cook larger pieces of chicken in it as well as party wings.
Saturday night I cut up a duck and grilled it in there.
