IOW the currently generally accepted view amongst researchers into their diet doesn't agree with your preconceived views, so they must be wrong. OK. Interesting you can't point at a single one which suggests they were veggies.

What wasn't true? How many million people living more than a few hundred years ago do you have such records for? Going how far back? What statistical base do have for butterting that "the average life expectancy was nowhere near 70"?

Your experience. What exactly is your experience? Are you 10,000 years old? Or have you done a study of human remains and determined the age at which the people died?

Rubbish. Tribes would regularly fight each other over territory, often continuously. War was part of everyday life, so was lack of food.

Clean water is part of our diet today. To argue that eating meat is unnatural and harmful because our ancestors didn't is just as ridiculous as arguing that drinking treated water is unnatural and harmful because our ancestors didn't.

Yes. So anything which causes life threatening disease, but not generally till 50+, is irrelevant to what our ancestors evolved to eat.
