Can't help with the Arcoflam I'm afraid but there are a couple of alternatives for hob to oven that I use. Think they are non...

Sorry, June, I've only just noticed this thread (now that all the background noise seems to have pbutted).

I've not yet been to Bertorelli's in Soho, though I have often noticed the one in Covent Garden - but not gone there either. From what I can see online, it looks like a big new version of the older outlets.

Only a couple of weeks ago I was agonising about where to take my companions for after theatre dinner today (going to the matinee of The Producers). I couldn't decide whether to go upmarket or chain - early on someone had suggested Loch Fyne in Covent Garden.

I did some research on Sarastro, Chez Gerard in the Piazza and several others I can't now remember (Bertorelli's wasn't in the reckoning) and then a couple of weeks ago I had a walk around the area one Saturday afternoon (see how serious I am about these things?!).

I ended up having lunch that day in Bank Aldwych (much better food than my first visit some years back), and then booking Axis, also in Aldwych, for tonight.

Fingers crossed.
