if you need it explaining to you why on earth are you on a foodie newsgroup? never mind 'fresha' or 'low salt' there should be one named correctly like 'bumstoppa' or 'conretepoo' or perhaps 'freshfatto'. Like with any other over refined food, it has had the goodness zapped out of it, you have to eat more to fill you up and it has no taste. fenwoman This is a miscellaneous food newsgroup, and as far as I know questions are encouraged. I wanted you to explain...

Mind you I have heard of people who don't understand why they get fat eating crisps, ready meals, bacon buttys etc. One woman my son worked with was permanently on a diet. She said she simply couldn't lose weight even though she ate next to nothing. Sure she had no breakfast, but because she was starving all day she snacked on bags of crisps , mars bars, and other bits during the day, grabbing fish and chips or chinese take away on the way home. She had convinced herself she ate only one meal a day and simply would not be told to have a proper breakfast and cut out the snacks. She simply couldn't see it just like some people simply cannot see that white sliced packet bread is fit for chickens only.
