This is a miscellaneous food newsgroup, and as far as I know questions are encouraged. I wanted you to explain why you think that "white sliced bread ... has no nutritional value". I still do.
Tell me why you think it has no "goodness". I'd love to know.
Bread lowish salt. 679five-year-old? Not true. An educated palate will like most stuff and enjoy the 'different' tastes and textures...
It says "too much white bread makes you fat". Not really a stunning relevation, is it! To much of almost any food will make you fay.
It also says "A spokeswoman from the British Nutrition Foundation said: "Looking at the data, those that ate white bread consumed more calories, more fat and less fibre, than those that ate wholemeal bread, so it is hard to say that white bread is the reason for this weight gain.".
I think it's because they eat too much of them. Do you think there's special fat-making magic in them?
They all say that.
Simply an excessive amount of calories consumed for her lifestyle, then, nothing to do with demons in the food.
Please - if you can answer my original question, then I may begin to take you seriously. I bet you won't!
