I think they've done some 're-visited' programmes; I didn't seen them, as Pilates clbuttes restarted. I *will* be fit, not fat :-)) I haven't watched many of the filthy houses programmes -- it's too close to home (my bathroom sink needs cleaning and here I am on Usenet :-) and I didn't like the cleaning ladies' characters. Or the feathery gloves.

We've also occasionally watched one of two of the spate of 'problem children' programmes, mainly because we both studied animal behaviour once upon a time, and like to keep our eye in, as it were. It's much easier for an objective observer than the parents, though.
I don't know why it's fascinating. A bit like the proverbial bird and snake. There was something on TV about a holiday resort in Mexico for overweight people, providing a place where, how to put it, not-overweight people wouldn't stare or make unkind comments. I wouldn't make unkind comments and I don't stare, but I can't help looking and wondering. I felt so sorry for some of them, so obviously deeply unhappy. It must be terribly difficult-time-consuming to lose that much weight.
