According to him the traditional kids' breakfast is therefore stacked full of contagions, with chocolate on top.

The kids (aged 12 and 7) weren't badly behaved before though they would often act up, but they've really taken to this new regime and apparently their behaviour has changed for the better almost beyond recognition, a development that their teachers have also commented on, and their scores at school have improved considerably.

Meanwhile, I've been trying to cut down on wheat intake since Christmas, but it seems to be present in most forms of processed food (together with salt, sugar and fat) and it's almost (but not totally) impossible to get muesli without wheat in it.
