Buitoni pasta
Price shopping I would presume. I had no idea Nestle had bought Buitoni! They are still here, still very community-involved, still expanding product lines and still considered good...

It was great. Miles from anywhere. Badgers, hares, owls, swallows, skylarks, rabbits, wild flowers (violas etc), miles and miles of country walks. Dogs loved it. So did m-in-l and I. I was chased by angry bees and said to dog 'Run Nell, Run', which she did and so did I. Lovely Country park near Mavis Enderby. Spilsby was lovely (2 miles away), as was Lincoln. There is a good department store in Boston (not many of them left except for the biggies). Hated Skeggy but Mablethorpe was OK. Liked Horncastle (nice craft shop and a decent pork butcher). Didn't get to taste Batemans beer, so was a bit disappointed.

Lots of really good butchers and fresh veg. Just what I love. Nice kitchen and managed a meal out. I usually take my own bag of equipment but forgot a good knife and had to buy one:))

The second week was in Norfolk with m-in-l and was equally enjoyable. Loose's cookery shop in Norwich is a cook's dream. There was a good butcher in Wymondham as well as a good greengrocer, so I had a good time cooking (m-in-l is great but doesn't like cooking, so did all the washing up with Bas). We had a couple of sherries before dinner every evening and ended each day with a couple of pints of local bitter. Drank Abbot Ale and Wymondham Tickler:)
