Lidl food is it REALLY this bad! 530

I don't wear make-up, and neither does my cat. ;-)

To be fair, I doubt every cat that's ever eaten Aldi's cat food has got cysbreastis, I'd definitely say that was the cause of my cat's illness. He's never had cysbreastis before, and since going back to Go Cat he's not had it since. Can I prove it? Well, no, it's a balance of probability thing. .

I read a recent consumer group report which said Aldi's premium cleaning products are excellent value for money, their cheaper lines are worthless. The premium lines are still way cheaper than you'd pay for Flash, Dettol, Mr Sheene and the like. I think that rings true with the store in general... There are many items in their inventory which offer both excellent quality and value - It just takes a while to establish which products to buy, and which to avoid. There Czech lager is a fine buy, as is their Smirnoff Ice equivalent.

I'm not against Aldi Lidl in general, just expressing my view than not *everything* is the bargain it seems. It's the same with Matalan, 80% of it is tat you'd not pay half the asking price for at a market... 20% is brand name clothing representing decent value for money.
