Anything called "delight" or "surprise" on a menu is usually best avoided, I feel.

French Fattys 810
I don't know if it's an American influence, or if France is going on a path that's more or less unavoidable for developped, Western countries. Maybe one clue...

It's actually rather better than might be feared.

Maybe this is more the thing

Vietnamese Iced Coffee Recipe
For those who love to travel to Vietnam in their own kitchen...(saves on waiting at Heatrow...) If you want things fast...

Prepare the avocado and toss with enough lemon juice to prevent the avocado from discoloring. Line a salad bowl with the lettuce leaves. Toss all of the other ingredients together in a mixing bowl---adding the desired amount of Hidden Valley¨ The Original Ranch¨ Salad Dressing. Transfer the salad to the lettuce-lined bowl to serve.

It's news to me that Ebay does recipes. Somehow I don't think this one's going to make millions for Brenda eben on a buy-it-now.

Brenda's Seafood Surprise Salad 1 package macaroni 1 package frozen salad shrimp 1 package surimi 1 package frozen peas 1 cup mayonnaise 1 heaping tablespoon Old Bay seasoning Salt and pepper to taste Cook macaroni. While macaroni is cooking, run cold water over shrimp in a colander to thaw and put in large bowl. Put peas in colander, run under cold water to thaw and add to bowl. Add cooked macaroni, Old Bay seasoning, mayonnaise and surimi to bowl. Stir well to mix. Refrigerate for at least 6 hours, better the next day. Add extra Old Bay to spice it up, if desired. Salt and pepper to taste. This is good for those hot summer days for lunch or dinner. Delicious!

Methinks this one would be more appealing; I like the writer's stle
