Have you ever tried to return something at Morrisons for a refund or replacement? Don't bother trying, it's pointless.

In a moment of madness we purchased on of their ready meals, which was supposedly chicken in a tomato and chili sauce with cous cous. Bad idea. The 'chicken' tasted like chicken fat, the sauce was tasteless, but worst of all the cous cous had the texture of overcooked porridge. It was horrible, totally inedible and after a mouthful went straight into the bin.

No problem we thought, take the outer cardboard sleeves and the receipt back there and they'd refund our money just like they'd do without quibble at Asda, Tesco or Marks and Spencer. Not a chance. We were told that the proof of purchase wasn't enough, that we should have returned the uneaten meals (could you imagine trying to transport them?) and that therefore there would be no refund. Even more ridiculous was that we were then told that there wouldn't have been an instant refund even if we *had* returned the meals as they would've been sent off for analysis first!

I always quessed that Morrisons was crap and the worst of all the supermarkets but the above has confirmed it.

More reasons NOT to shop at Morrisons?
