My apologies

onions, digestive effects ofI have a problem. Yesterday afternoon, we pulled up a bumper harvest of onions from the allotment. So my wife made French onion soup for supper. And it was wonderful, with a beautifully delicate, sweet... Let me put it this way - every time June does one of her 'hit and run' attacks on me in uk.rec.gardening, she does an e-flounce when she's annoyed everyone enough, and usually announces I'm in her kill file or that she's 'ignoring' me or that I am 'forbidden' to reply to her. This time, she realised, too late, that she had cross-posted to your food group and so leaped in with a "gosh I didn't realise it was Sacha" type excuse, despite my 4 line sig.file. Rubbish. Perhaps June has problems with her kill file or perhaps she just likes making ad hominem attacks on me when the mood takes her. I think I know the answer but you asked the question, remember, so you prompted the reply. Now, I suggest that June gets on with doing whatever June does best and that she really, really means it when she says - as she usually does - that she wants nothing to do with me, because believe me, the feeling is mutual and in spades, on my part. *I* did not respond to any post of June's out of a clear blue sky - that choice of hers with regard to a post of mine on urg, was hers and hers alone and it was typically snotty. -- Sacha (remove the weeds for email) |
