The F word
He's quite attractive but I wouldn't really say he is lovey. Tries to be. Like putting his arms round someone...

...and up the creek...

Long time no see, and now here I am to cry on a the group shoulder - we're in the middle of a true horror story called redecorating on a big scale (like changing floors, skimming walls-ceilings and other 'orrible stuff)...since July....for over a month my kitchen, dining room and larder were the worst...and I have lost several small but important bits of a variety of appliances and generally "stuff". I know now I will probably never find them (like a pair of boots in a carrier bag) as there was sooo much rubbish that needed to be chucked every day.

One of the victims is the breadmaker paddle (Swan Super Rapid...I didn't even know Swan are no longer with us!), I phoned the spare parts dept of whatever, they gave me another number (turned out to be Swan Teasmaker manufacturer!!), they sent to to Littlewoods, as L'woods had bought Swan. Littlewoods say - Index has closed down, SO they can't help me and their shops don't carry electrical goods (since when???), online shop hasn't got it either..

My mind has just about scrambled and parboiled...the breadmaker is relatively new and worked well! But no paddle - no bread...

No paddle...courgette fritters recipe
Well, thank you kindly for the welcomeback :) The 'orrible redecorating has been in motion since beginning of July...

So - questions:

anone has a spare Swan SuperRapid paddle they don't want? anyone know WHERE I could look for one? anyone would suggest a new breadmaker? - it seems that Panasonic SD252 and 253 and Morphy Richards 48210-48220 get good write-ups.

any comments and ideas are welcome...so long as they don't include "make your own paddle" or something ..

cheers

Krysia and no bread :( K.T. - starannie opakowana
