I haven't had that either. I suspect you need to uncheck a box in the properties for one of your accounts.

I think you may be right about the default setting, though. I had a little trouble directing my sent messages to the correct folder until I thought to check the default settings for folders, which I rarely use, normally having parameters set for each group I use. (I only have a few!)
One man's meat, etc..... The trouble as I see it is that you can't undo it once it's done, unless you do it as a clean install and not an upgrade.
