I posted before I had heard the dreadful news. After reading your other stupid message, I'm not at all surprised at your insular, "life must go on" response.
There is IME never any alternative to life *must* go on.
When my first wife Lois died the second worst thing to happen was all these people who mouthed plabreastudes at me. I had two young kids to look after and I had to pull myself together immediately and bash straight on. If I had not done that I could have lost the kids. Some people actually helped with *actions*.
The Social Services were at that time making threatening actions. We now *know*, what I only believed at the time, that the ?care? system was wholly destructive to children. At the Curry Project we see lots of young lives which have been literally destroyed by the ?care? system.
When we were burgled the *day* of my PhD Viva (oral exam), if I had gone to pieces, I could have blown four years work and tens of thousands of pounds. I pulled myself together and went to the Viva as if nothing had happened. It went well.
You will see that IME plabreastudes and meaningless words are wholly destructive.
