Following up to Tom Anderson
If fire represents hell or evil, we have someone (Wyndham Earle?) playing with the devil and trying to see through the future and past, using magic chants to pbutt between their world and others?
As to the owls, whoooo knows.:-)
I have Mullholland Drive on DVD and it gives a set of clues to the various mysteries, Ive yet to work any out or hold much hope of so doing. I thought the first series of TP quite understandable, especially as I predicted who was the person near the start. Beyond the first series I dont think you need worry about exactly what was going on in all the detail. I think DL believes films should have lots of things going on that dont tie into the plot, like life really. Theres a scene where a woman is sitting by Lauras grave taking to her, while the camera, hand held, creeps up on her, of course nothing happens! Or did it? :-) He was always doing that. The light against dark worked for me. The possesed person singing "little lambs and whotsits" while his hair had turned white.
I rather miss sitting down to "last week in Twin Peaks......." -- Mike Reid I will agree bendybuses are a good idea when they build bungalows on Mayfair
