Some months ago I heard (on radio 4) about a man who had invented a special cream to help his wife's skin problem. It seemed that this cream had been found to deal with MRSA and other infections! Asda is the distribitor and I eventually, managed to get several bottles. The stuff which has now been tailored to MRSA and other bugs is called Skinsure Ultra. I mailed the company and asked what the mode d'emploi would be for my case. A very nice customer service lady mailed me back with advice. I must use the cream on the leg before surgery. After, I can put the cream up to the dressing and once that is off I can put it directly on to the scar. I must put the cream on me wherever anyone might touch me.. ie physio, docs etc.
I have also armed myself with antiseptic wipes and spray with which I shall clean my room and furniture when I arrived. I don't care what they think.. I have had a bloody bloody bloody infection and I intend to do any and everything to minimise the risk
