Having sat in on a few council meetings and sub commitee meetings I would say the average person I have witnessed has the IQ of a manhole cover.. and the rest of em didnt even open their mouths !
The way local government is run is appalling.....these people could run a market stall. Council taxes are rising at ridiculous rates................services get worse. And the prats that think outsourcing is the answer,which everyone thinks it is .....are just plain barmy.
People in private business wouldnt accept price increases of the % levels seen in the public sectors from outside contractors. ( other private companies ) fleecing the tax payer. . Hands up all those who think that local ammenities are improving. That the local town is a safer place on a saturday night. That all the jobs created by local authorities are necessary
At least those in the city are working in a business that either succeeds or they lose their jobs.

What improvements in society............you have to be kidding!! its going down the plughole !
If they are working hard to acheive this then I rest my case................useless the lot of em!
