Yes basically but there are to be publications of updated versions though in practice the SFBB pack replaces it. There are also major changes in the pipe line to training courses and particularly the introduction of industry specific training and management of safety training.
The changes for cateres are not extensive but a business must intruduce a food safety management system - the SSFB pack if used properly will do that for small and medium caterers see picture.
See above for where this stands but it is the system that needs to be introduced.
This time not we have adopted the european standards almost verbatim. What I would say is the popular belief that hygiene in the rest of europe is worse than in england is I am afraid very wide of the mark. Forgetting regulation the actual standards of hygiene in the UK are relatively poor from the manufacturers downward. Big firms tend to be in line with their european counterparts but smaller and medium firms are a different matter.
