: : : Can anyone please tell me where I could get hold of this? I tried a : recipe from Anthony Worrall-Thompson's GI diet book for blueberry : muffins, but couldn't find wholegrain flour (unless it was : masquerading under another name) at Waitrose or Sainsbury's or the : local health food shop. I tried with wholemeal instead, but they've : come out disgusting, like little mud pies... : : Hi there stranger ;-) : Cooking Muffins at a wild campsite, that is what I call Extreme Cookery ;-) : : He was using American terminology a common problem, they call just about : everything by different names over the pond. The book is after all about : "GI diet" : the GI here, I think Dave, would refer to 'glycemic index',
I read it as Government Issue, because Blueberry Muffins are AFAIK a clbuttic American dish, so it is probable that AWT used American terminology.
if you don't know about it, then, IMHO, you should.
The latest food fad? which I ignore.
Peewiglet clearly has problems with her muffins, and if we knew the recipe we could probably make some reasonable suggestions.
