Quality set of saucepans

I have several Steller pans, which I bought some 18 years ago. I have given some to my daughter and like yours, they have suffered much abuse and burning over the years without significant damage. I especially like the milk pan, which is used for everything and has been burned more times than I could mention. However, having occasional snobby moments, I purchased several Italian pans a few years ago - the firm has since gone bust - and I love them too. Kitchen Aid brought out a set of enamelled stainless steel pans about ten years ago and I also have those. They are now discontinued, so the best I can recommend is Stellar. (Except for Circulon professional, which I gave to my daughter. She loves them. The thing I didn't like about them is that they are non-stick but they appear to be as tough as old boots). Finally, I like my Hacker set, which is used every day. It consists of a pan and four steamers, including one without holes for keeping puddings warm etc. Like the rest of my pans, the base pan has been burned on many occasions without warping, which is what counts.
