Thanks for the complements Graham, as I said to you there are a lot of people hear and for all they know I could be whistling threw my you know what. It was an enjoyable visit and now I have finally found how to get there I might be out again soon. The only thing I found to be a hindrance was the friendly pets you seem to have, as I said to Roger, you wanted to see some wild life while out here. He did not have to go far as they came to meet him every night on our walks.
Both Carol and Roger flew back on Saturday and the house is quiet, daughter flew out on Thursday mother only knew she was coming as we was planning a bbq for every one before they left, had a 15 lb rib hanging for close to two months that had some fine whiskers growing on the outside. I went into work on the Friday morning to get the rib ready and was presented with miniature Cornish Pasties as well as mini sausage rolls and cheese and onion pies by the Chef.
Rib was placed on the bbq just before three in the afternoon and left on the lowest heat I could set to slowly cook convection style. closer to the time that the rib was ready we placed on the Sockeye wild Salmon along with the large Tiger Prawns. Every thing came together by seven in the evening where eighteen people descended one a heavy laden table of fresh salads meat and fish.
The weather has been great while family was out this way with temperatures getting close to the forty's in Kelowna, even out here on the coast it has been in the high thirties, I just hope that it was not to much of a shock when they arrived home to the "cooler" weather.
If you need a re-supply let me know by Tuesday as daughter is flying back then.
Jeanne and I are starting to plan for the trip-holiday next year, Carol sister is going to make sure that we have tickets for Ludlow this time.
Once again Graham, thanks for the complements and thank you for the book.
