Seemed to have made the reverse of Sundays mistakes last night. I did have chicked, but it was a rather thick on the bone piece. Cooked nicely on the outside but the very centre turned out to be a bit bloody, although there was no evidence of that when I forked it, all the juiced were clear. And yes it did look rather white and horrid. However I took up your sauce idea knocked up a quick mushroom sauce to go over it which helped.

I cooked the chicken and the new potatos on the bottom tier, 20 minutes selected this time. I had cabbage, speciality cauliflower and leeks in the middle tier. Didn't bother with a top tier. The weggies in the middle tier were fine, however I could eat the new potatos as they were under-cooked and hard. Seems the half hour I used on Sunday was more appropriate.

I've concluded that I need to start the potatos and chicken first, give them 15 minutes then add the other tiers and run for another 15 minutes. Might over cook the chicken though... or I could use thinner boneless chicken and try the 15 mintutes...

How is everyone getting round this?

Col
