Heavily sign posted and since we were in Kinross for the weekend we decided to have lunch there yesterday.
On the way out we were chatting to a chap who told us there had been a write up in the Scotsman about it.
Anyhoo...... For starter David had chicken liver and cognac parfait and I had potted shrimp. I tasted the parfait and while good it was a little too sweet for me. The shrimp were delicious but I found it hard to look at them. They were very small and looked like tiny worms:) The flavour overcame my distate at the sight and I enjoyed them very much:) The starters were served with soda bread toast
David then had crap cakes and I had lemon sole. Very good:) I had Irish Champ with my sole and I promised myself to make it at home:)
Pudding... I had a very ordinary meringue with cream and strawberries and David just had coffee. I had a bottle of pinot grigio.. acceptable... and David had a glbutt of Merlot (He was driving)
All in all we enjoyed it very much. The staff were very friendly and we will definitely to back again. The whole lost cost around £70
