Yes. Of course. Smkts wouldn't exist if the bulk of consumers did not buy from them.
Trouble is the same consumers will expect to buy from what local food supplies are left if-when smkt-style food supplies become difficult (oil supply and import problems). I am supporting the small producers ATM and I feel I should have some priority in such circumstances and it irks me to know I will not be able to.
No. I don't approve of any more regulation than is absolutely necessary; I already have too much of that. But I would like to see the consumers thinking about the effects of their buying patterns and taking some responsibility for the future. Although, I don't know why I should expect them to; the govt is more or less going to have to look after them in contingency because there are too many of them to leave to their own devices without risking serious civil unrest.
Yes. Understandable. It just has hazards which the buying public does not seem to recognise - or, at least, does not seem tofeel a need to take account of ATM. Enjoy the advantages today and take no thought of the morrow - not until the morrow comes
