I sometimes wonder how roadsweepers react to always being quoted as the bottom end of the scale. Do they just look on the rest of us with benign sympathy or does it annoy them? Do we have any road sweepers here?

Probably. No point in getting rich if you don't get some advantages from it. The "rich elite" will live in the country (and use taxis-public transport in their city living - the very rich will still use cars as a badge of richness) and use the low-rated country roads while the poor will be in the high rated cities. I'm a country dweller BTW as it seems to be relevant - but not a particularly rich one - except compared with the poor countries, that is.
