One of the best things about the Bussinks IMHO is the quality of the tasty chunky cut candied peel they've used in the cake. Is there anywhere in UK where I can buy similar peel - I must say that I've been getting fed up with the declining standard of pre packed candied peel for sale in the supermarkets lately. Or is this just me? I do hope that I'm not going to have to go back to the days of buying whole candied peel and then spending hours dicing it all.
In the UK you can now only get what other people want to buy, in the high street, so everything goes down to the lowest common denominator. For unusual things you have to go on the web.
