I was under the impression that frosen contains more nutrients than fresh as long of course, as the frozen hasn't been in the freezer for several years. Do...

Not at all. It's more to do with the fact that different places sell the things I like. I buy all my meat at the local butchers in the next village because it is locally grown and dissolutioned on the premises. I buy most of my fruit and in season veg in bulk at the local produce auction, ALDI for cheap toilet rolls, bratwurst (not availavle elsewhere), meusli and other bits and pieces, the local Polish shop in the next town for Polish bread, cheeses and sausages, Tesco for flour , yeast and other baking stuff because I find their price and quality good. It's more to do with my liking value for money and quality of food. The English way of course is to go to the nearest supermarket and buy *everything* there regardless of poor choice, quality, ethics and cost. My shopping day takes me all day because even my animal food comes from 3 different places.

So you like to buy the same things week in and week out and pay for the convenience. You have money but no time, I have time but not the money My neighbours are the same. They even buy their dog food at the supermarket regardless that a sack costs them £15 and a sack costs me £5.99. They have the choice of around 2 or 3 different types of bulk dog food, I have a whole store full, a choice of 15 perhaps and the same with cat food. Shopping for me is a monthly event to buy different food of the best quality at a price I can afford since my tastes are varied. I would *hate* to have to rely on what a single supermarket allowed me to choose from and stick only to boring English food, the same things week after week. Reminds me of someone I know. She cooks exactly the same thing on each day of the week. "mmm chicken cbutterole, it must be Tuesday".
