Following up to sarah
I know from reliable sources that he's a laugh down the pub but that's the limit. I find him an antidote to the grey PC crowd who want us to go everywhere at 15 mph or better still on a bus. If it wasn't for them I would probably hate him too? Have you watched him on great inventors or his chat show. I liked the sheer don't give a damn fun of it, causing explosions in microwaves and such like. (When he took US off the map and binned it, he didnt include Canada). Surely you would have laughed a little at the outrageousness of his treatment of his chosen worlds most boring car. (He bought one in a showroom, then wrecked it in the carpark with a sledgehammer with the salesmen looking on) then took it to a field and blew it 50 feet into the sky, OK, its not subtle, but that's *why* its funny. You can have too much Ben Elton).
You have a thing about climbing tights, don't you? Probably gear racks too? Was it Muriel Gray who wrote about workmen with tool belts? Or was it firemen? I seem to be rambling this morning! -- Mike Reid
