He used to own a Ferrari, now a Mercedes, the one they use as Start car in F1 IIRC
Yep, I like the skill involved in pole dancing, its hard you know? :-)
Seriously now, yes I agree. When you see people free climbing big faces my hands start to sweat.
As for falling, Ive done it in a very modest way. I slipped on Nederkogel, stupidly descending warming snow, the acceleration (just sliding) i found "unpleasant" although not of the brown trouser variety as there isnt time to think, but it was unnerving for the rest of the descent. It had a comedy element, when I got my axe in, the snow spray filled up my glacier glbuttes, so when I stopped I didnt know where I was, edge of cliff, in the park in Obergurl with the Ommph Pah band ready to play or what. I just laid there for a few seconds thinking, "oooooooh poo". Strangely no dramatic music played.
Reading that back it sounds like "Touching the Void" but it was just a minor incident on a minor hill, although if it gives the get the impression i'm incredibly macho, thats all right with me!
sorry?
yep
